EHR and technology data to filter hospitals, practices and HCPs by the systems they run

Healthcare technographics that go down to the site and the clinician: see which EHR a hospital, clinic, medical group or HCP uses, the site it runs at and the other systems installed at the hospital. Filter by vendor or product, then open the people who decide.

Coverage

Dmand AI tracks the EHR at US hospitals, sites of care, medical groups and HCPs, and the other systems each hospital runs

Use the systems your buyers run as filters. Pick an EHR vendor or product, or a hospital category such as revenue cycle or PACS, and build a targeted list of the accounts and clinicians that fit what you sell.

Technology records

Every technology record shows the vendor, the product and the site it runs at

The same EHR card appears on hospitals, sites, groups and clinicians, so a rep reads one format everywhere.

  1. Hospitals show the EHR and every other system on record, by category

The inpatient and ambulatory EHR, revenue cycle, supply chain, PACS, lab, pharmacy, security and more, with vendor and product.

  2. Sites and medical groups show the EHR they run

The EHR at each clinic, surgery center or group, with vendor and product.

  3. HCPs show the EHR at their practice and at their hospital

Each clinician’s practice EHR and the EHR where they admit or operate, each tied to its site.

EHR by site

Dmand AI records the EHR site by site across a health system, not one EHR for the whole system

A health system rarely runs one EHR everywhere. Hospitals move to one platform while acquired groups and outpatient sites keep their own for years. Dmand AI records the EHR at the site and group level, so you can see which sites are still on another system before you pitch a migration or an integration.

Data quality

How Dmand AI keeps EHR data reliable: the site it runs at, practice and hospital EHRs kept apart, and monthly updates

An EHR you pitch against has to be right. Each record ties the system to the site where it runs, so a health system with four EHRs never shows as one.

Illustrations: the labels Dmand AI shows on technology records, each on an invented record.

  • Tied to the site it runs at

Each EHR belongs to a hospital, clinic or group, not to a company domain.

  • Practice and hospital EHRs kept apart

A clinician’s practice system and the system where they admit show as two lines, each with its site.

  • One name per product

Products are matched to one catalog entry, so “EpicCare Ambulatory” and “Epic Ambulatory” filter together.

  • Updated with every refresh

Clinician, site and group EHR records refresh with the monthly update, and each record shows the date it was last updated.

Questions

Healthcare technographics and EHR data FAQs

What Health IT teams ask before they trust technology data.

What are healthcare technographics?

Technographics are records of the technology an organization uses. In healthcare that means which EHR, revenue cycle, PACS and other systems a hospital, clinic, medical group or clinician runs. Dmand AI records the EHR at hospitals, sites of care, medical groups and clinicians, plus the other systems installed at each hospital, and every one of them works as a search filter.

How do I find out which EHR a hospital uses?

Open the hospital in Dmand AI. Its Technology tab shows the inpatient and ambulatory EHR and the other systems installed, by category, with vendor and product. Free hospital profile pages show the categories; the vendor and product are in the app with a free account.

Can I get a list of hospitals that use Epic?

Yes. Filter hospitals by inpatient EHR vendor in Dmand AI, add state, bed size or health system, and save or export the list with the hospital’s leaders. Our guide to hospitals using Epic covers how to work that list.

Which EHR vendors have the most US hospitals?

Epic, Oracle Cerner and MEDITECH run the inpatient EHR at most US hospitals, followed by TruBridge. The EHR market share insight shows each vendor’s share by state and bed size.

Can I find physicians who use a specific EHR?

Yes. Filter HCPs by the EHR at their practice or at their hospital, by vendor or product, then add specialty and location to get a list of the clinicians who already use the system you sell into.

How does Dmand AI know which EHR a clinician or clinic uses?

Each EHR comes from a record tied to that clinician or site: their own CMS reporting on certified health IT, the hospital or medical group they practice at, the site’s own records, HRSA health center data or their parent organization.

What is the difference between an inpatient and an ambulatory EHR?

An inpatient EHR runs a hospital’s admitted patients, wards and operating rooms; an ambulatory EHR runs clinics and practices. Many health systems use one vendor for both, while independent practices often run a different ambulatory system. Dmand AI shows both for hospitals, and a practice EHR and a hospital EHR for each clinician.

What hospital technology does Dmand AI track besides the EHR?

Revenue cycle, health information management, supply chain, financials, human resources, radiology and cardiology PACS, lab, pharmacy, emergency department systems, nursing, CRM, population health, business intelligence, and IT infrastructure and security, each with vendor and product. Each category is a filter.

Can I see the EHR for medical groups and small practices?

Yes. Medical groups and sites of care, from small practices to surgery centers, show the EHR they run with vendor and product, and you can filter groups and sites by it.

Can I find the IT leaders at hospitals on a given EHR?

Yes. Filter hospitals by EHR, open their executives and pick IT, informatics or revenue cycle leaders, then save them as a list and get their contact details when you need them. The healthcare executive data page covers the leaders.

Why don’t free hospital profile pages show the EHR vendor?

Free hospital pages show which technology categories a hospital has. The vendor and product are part of Dmand AI’s data and show in the app with a free account.

How often is EHR and technology data updated?

Clinician, site and group EHR records refresh with Dmand AI’s monthly update, and hospital installs update as new install data arrives. Each record shows the date it was last updated.
