  • Free to connect
  • Self-serve
  • No credit card to start

Illustration: in Claude with Dmand AI connected, a request for the sleep medicine physicians at an invented health system returns three physicians at three sites, Claude asks before it uses credits, and the verified emails come back and are saved to a Dmand AI list. All names are placeholders.

What Claude can reach

Dmand AI is an MCP server for healthcare sales data, covering every US health system, site of care, HCP and executive

The Dmand AI connector lets Claude search the same healthcare database as the Dmand AI app, with people tied to the sites where they work and every site placed under its parent organization. Ask by name, specialty, title, location, health system or buying signal.Connecting is free. A free Dmand AI account gives Claude core HCP fields such as NPI, name, specialty and primary practice, and a paid plan adds procedures, technology in use and deeper clinical detail.

Healthcare data in Claude

Pasted files, homemade MCP servers and general B2B connectors each give Claude part of the healthcare picture

What Claude can tell you about hospitals and physicians depends on how the data reaches it.

Illustration: for each way of getting healthcare data into Claude, what Claude can answer that way next to what it answers with Dmand AI connected, using an invented health system.
  • Pasted exports hold only what is in the file

A registry or CRM export pasted into a chat is frozen at the day it was pulled, and it holds no org tree and no contacts.

  • A homemade MCP server serves registry records as filed

Servers built on NPPES and CMS files return one record per NPI at its registered address, with no employer, no hierarchy and no contact, and someone on your team has to keep them running.

  • A general B2B data connector matches people by email domain

Built for every industry, it reads a health system that shares one email domain as one company, so the hospital or clinic where a person works never shows.

FAQ

Questions about the Dmand AI connector for Claude

Can’t find your answer? Email hello@dmand.ai or book a demo with our team.

What is the Dmand AI MCP connector for Claude?

It is a connector built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that lets Claude search Dmand AI’s US healthcare database from a chat. Claude can find health systems, hospitals, medical groups, sites of care, HCPs and executives, read the org hierarchy and buying signals around them, get verified work emails and mobile numbers, and save people to a Dmand AI list.

Is there an MCP server for healthcare sales data?

Yes. Dmand AI is an MCP server for healthcare sales data: it gives Claude search over 7.4M+ HCPs, 11M+ healthcare executives and 997K+ sites of care, each placed in an org hierarchy from the IDN down to the site, with verified contacts on request. Healthcare MCP servers built on public files or clinical records return registry or FHIR data, without the people at each site or a way to reach them.

How do I connect Dmand AI to Claude?

Create a free Dmand AI account, then create an MCP key in Dmand AI settings and top up credits. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, click Add, choose Add custom connector, paste the Dmand AI server URL and add your key as a request header. In a new chat, click +, open Connectors and switch Dmand AI on. On Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector in Organization settings, and each member clicks Connect and signs in with their own Dmand AI account.

Can Claude get physician and hospital executive emails through Dmand AI?

Yes. When you ask for contacts, Claude requests them from Dmand AI and shows each person’s verified work email and mobile number in its reply. Before the lookup runs, Claude tells you the credit cost and waits for your go-ahead, and a contact that is not found costs nothing.

Which Claude plans work with the Dmand AI connector?

Custom connectors work on Claude’s Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, and the Free plan allows one. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds Dmand AI in Organization settings, and each member clicks Connect and signs in with their own Dmand AI account. Your Dmand AI plan and credits are separate from your Claude plan.

Does the Dmand AI connector work in Claude Desktop?

Yes. Add the connector once under Customize, then Connectors, and it appears in Claude Desktop, Claude on the web and the Claude mobile apps, because Claude reaches the Dmand AI server from Anthropic’s cloud. There is no desktop configuration file to edit.

Is the Dmand AI Claude connector free?

Yes. Connecting Dmand AI to Claude is free with any Dmand AI account, including a free one, and on a free account you pay only for the credits you top up. A free account returns core HCP fields such as NPI, name, specialty and primary practice. Procedures, technology in use and deeper clinical detail come with a paid plan, and the pricing page compares the plans.

Which Dmand AI lookups in Claude use credits?

Counts, searches and org hierarchy summaries use no credits. Full HCP, executive and site profiles, full org trees and contacts use credits, and a contact is charged only when Dmand AI finds it. Before any step that uses credits, Claude tells you the cost and asks for your go-ahead. Credit rates are on the pricing page, and Claude’s own usage stays on your Claude subscription.

What data can Claude access through the Dmand AI connector?

The same records a Dmand AI user searches in the app: health systems and IDNs, hospitals, medical groups, sites of care, HCPs and healthcare executives, with their affiliations, the org hierarchy and buying signals. Full HCP profiles add procedures, clinical trials, publications and Open Payments, and verified contacts come back on request. How much of each record Claude sees depends on your Dmand AI plan: a free account returns core HCP fields, and paid plans add the deeper detail.

Where does the data Claude gets from Dmand AI come from?

From the CMS provider registry, PECOS enrollment, CMS Open Payments, Medicare claims, ClinicalTrials.gov and PubMed, plus Dmand AI executive data and its own affiliation mapping. Each source is matched to one Dmand AI record per HCP, executive and site. Emails and phone numbers are found through Dmand AI’s healthcare waterfall enrichment and checked before Claude shows them.

Can I use Dmand AI in ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor or Codex?

Not yet. Early access is open for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and your own agents on the context layer page, and each will run on your existing Dmand AI account and credits.

Is Dmand AI an alternative to ZoomInfo for healthcare data in Claude?

For teams selling into US healthcare, yes. ZoomInfo offers an MCP connector for general B2B data, while Dmand AI’s connector is built on US healthcare records: HCPs by NPI and specialty, people tied to the site where they work, and every site under its health system. Our ZoomInfo healthcare review compares the two in full.

Is there an API as well as the Claude connector?

Yes. The NPI Contact Enrichment API takes one Type 1 NPI or up to 45 per request and returns verified professional or personal emails and mobile numbers, by webhook or polling, with docs at docs.dmand.ai. Executive enrichment and lookups without an NPI are not in the API yet.

Connect Dmand AI to Claude
