Waterfall enrichment for healthcare contacts, matched to the site where each person works

Reach the HCP or hospital leader you actually mean, not someone with the same name at another site. Dmand AI uses each person’s affiliations to look in the right places, then hands your rep a contact that is ready to use.

Contact coverage

Dmand AI finds verified work emails, personal emails, direct dials and LinkedIn for US HCPs and healthcare executives

Dmand AI’s waterfall contact enrichment works through a series of healthcare-specific contact sources for each person and contact type, and checks every match before it lands on your list. Each contact stays attached to the person’s site of care and the health system above it.

Why healthcare contacts come back blank

Single databases, homemade vendor stacks and name matching leave healthcare contact data blank or wrong

Each row below sets one common data enrichment approach beside Dmand AI, for the same hospital and surgery center leaders.

Illustration: for each common enrichment approach, what it returns next to what Dmand AI returns for the same people.
  • A single contact database stops at the contacts it already holds

Clinicians and site leaders who rarely show up in general B2B data come back empty, and there is no second source to ask.

  • A homemade stack of general vendors still doesn’t know healthcare

You pay several contact data providers, wire them in order yourself, and still match people by company name instead of by the site where they work.

  • Name matching returns a different clinician with the same name

A common name at a large system can resolve to the wrong physician, and the email still validates, so nobody notices until the reply.

From list to verified contacts

Enrich a list of hospital and surgery center leaders with verified contacts

Taylor sells surgical scheduling software to Brookfield Health and needs to reach the leaders who run its operating rooms. Taylor, Brookfield Health and its sites are invented for this page.

Illustration: four perioperative leaders at an invented hospital and surgery center, each listed with the site and health system where they work.

01

Start from people placed at the sites you sell to

Taylor filters Find People to Brookfield Health’s hospital and surgery center and the perioperative team, so every person already sits at their site before Taylor picks which contacts to find.

02

Choose the contact types you need

For a sales list Taylor picks work email, direct dial and LinkedIn, leaves personal email off, and clicks Find Contacts to start the waterfall.

03

Watch each field fill from healthcare sources and pass validation

Each field shows Checking while sources are asked in turn, then lands as Verified or Found, and a field no source can fill stays Not found at no cost.

04

Send the people to a sequence or to HubSpot

Taylor adds the four leaders to a sequence and pushes them to HubSpot, so outreach starts with contacts that already passed validation.

How waterfall enrichment works

Waterfall enrichment asks one contact source at a time until it finds a match

Instead of trusting one database, each source is asked only about the people the sources before it could not find.

  • Illustration: three sources in a row, the first two faint and the third lit, then Validate and Your list, with the line lit from the third source to the list.

Sources take turns, and the waterfall stops at the first match

For each person and each contact type, the next source is asked only when the one before comes back empty, and the first match is validated before it counts, so you pay only for contacts found.

  • Illustration: two columns, Sales with work email, direct dial and LinkedIn, and Recruiting with personal email and cell number.

Work contacts reach buyers, personal contacts reach candidates

Sales teams want a work email and a direct dial at the site where the buyer works, while recruiters want a personal email and a cell number, because candidates rarely want a job offer in their employer’s inbox.

Contact enrichment questions

Waterfall contact enrichment FAQs

Questions from sales, recruiting and RevOps teams about healthcare contact data. Can’t find yours? Email hello@dmand.ai.

What is waterfall enrichment?

Waterfall enrichment is a way to find contact details by asking several data sources in order. If the first source has no email or phone number for a person, the next one is asked, and so on until one returns a match. It finds more contacts than any one source can, and you pay only for the contacts it finds.

How does waterfall enrichment work in Dmand AI?

Pick the people and the contact types you need, then click Find Contacts. Dmand AI works through 20+ healthcare-specific contact sources in turn for each person and contact type, validates the first match, and adds it to the person’s record. Each contact stays tied to the site of care where the person works.

Which contact details does Dmand AI find for HCPs and executives?

Professional emails, personal emails, direct dials or cell numbers, and LinkedIn profiles. You choose which ones to find for each list, so a sales list can skip personal emails and a recruiting list can skip work emails.

How does Dmand AI make sure a contact belongs to the right person?

People in Dmand AI are linked to the sites where they work through their affiliations, and HCPs are also identified by NPI. The waterfall looks for the person at that site, not anyone with the same name at the same employer, so a common name at a large health system still resolves to the right physician or leader.

Can recruiters get personal emails and cell numbers for physicians and nurses?

Yes. Choose personal email and cell number on a list of physicians, nurse practitioners, CRNAs or other NPI-holding clinicians. Dmand AI validates each one before it reaches the list, and you can then reach candidates with email steps and auto-dialer calls from the same app.

How are emails and phone numbers validated?

Every email and number is checked before it reaches your list, and each field shows its status, such as Verified, Found or Not found. A field that no source can fill, or that fails validation, is labeled Not found, and you aren’t charged for it.

How much does contact enrichment cost?

You spend credits only on the contacts Dmand AI finds. What each contact type costs, along with plans and credit packs, is on the pricing page.

Where does Dmand AI’s contact data come from?

People and their sites come from Dmand AI’s healthcare data, which draws on the CMS provider registry, CMS provider enrollment records, Medicare claims and Dmand AI executive data. Contact details come from 20+ healthcare-specific contact sources asked in a waterfall, and each one is validated before it is added.

Can I find emails and mobile numbers for a list of NPIs?

Yes, through the API: developers post Type 1 NPIs and receive verified emails and mobile numbers by webhook or polling. The NPI Contact Enrichment page covers how it works and what it costs.

Can I send enriched contacts to HubSpot or Salesforce?

Yes. The HubSpot integration keeps contacts, accounts, email activity, tasks and notes in sync, two ways and field by field, and any contact can be pushed to HubSpot from its side panel. Salesforce sync is in beta.

What should I look for in a data enrichment tool for healthcare?

Look for sources that cover clinicians and site leaders, validation before a contact reaches your list, and contacts matched to the person’s site of care rather than an email domain. Check that it finds the contact types your team uses, work or personal, and charges only for what it finds. Then test it on people your team already knows.

Is Dmand AI an alternative to ZoomInfo or Apollo for healthcare contacts?

Yes, if your buyers are US hospitals, health systems, medical groups and HCPs. ZoomInfo and Apollo both run waterfalls that start from their own general B2B data and then check other vendors (zoominfo.com, apollo.io). Dmand AI’s waterfall uses healthcare-specific sources and ties each contact to the site of care where the person works. Read the full comparisons of Dmand AI with ZoomInfo and with Apollo.
