Sales engagement platform for healthcare that reaches HCPs and hospital leaders by email, phone and LinkedIn

Plan every touch to a physician, nurse leader or hospital executive once: emails that send on schedule, calls through the auto-dialer and LinkedIn tasks on the days you choose. Dmand AI sends from your team’s own mailboxes and stops the moment someone replies.

Who you can reach

Dmand AI is a sales engagement platform built for healthcare, with email sequences, an auto-dialer, tasks and one inbox for replies

Because Dmand AI is also where your team searches US healthcare data, the people in your sequences come straight from that search. Each HCP and executive is tied to the hospital, medical group or site where they work, which keeps every step pointed at the right person.

Separate tools vs one sequence

Healthcare outreach loses prospects when emails, calls and follow-ups live in separate tools

Most teams start with one of three setups, and each one loses track of a prospect somewhere between the first email and the first call.

Illustration: for each common outreach setup, what it shows next to what a Dmand AI sequence shows for the same prospect.
  • A rep’s own inbox leaves every follow-up to memory

The first email goes out by hand, and the second touch happens only if someone remembers it.

  • A separate dialer and email tool split one prospect into two histories

Calls are logged in one app and emails in another, so nobody sees the full history before the next touch.

  • One mailbox sending a whole campaign holds it to one daily limit

Every email leaves from one address, so the campaign waits on that mailbox’s limit and one domain carries all the risk.

From first step to first call

Run a healthcare email sequence with calls and tasks, from the first step to today’s call list

Follow one account executive at a medical staffing firm as she reaches nurse leaders at hospitals. Every name in the scenes is invented.

Illustration: Dana builds the Winter ICU Staffing sequence: an intro email, a phone call, a LinkedIn connection task and a follow-up email, with waits between them.

01

Build one sequence with email, call and LinkedIn steps

Dana Whitaker sets up Winter ICU Staffing with an intro email, a call, a LinkedIn connection request and a follow-up, with waits between them, then chooses who sends it.

02

Send from several mailboxes within each one’s daily limit

She adds her two mailboxes and one from each teammate, sends on weekdays in each prospect’s time zone, and stops the sequence for anyone who replies or books a meeting, then adds the people.

03

Add the nurse leaders you saved and launch

The CNOs and directors of nursing Dana saved in Find People arrive with each email checked as deliverable or risky, and Launch starts the first emails while calls and tasks queue up.

04

Work today’s calls on the Calls page and LinkedIn steps on the Tasks page

Call steps due today wait on the Calls page for the auto-dialer, LinkedIn steps wait on the Tasks page to tick off, and a reply from any nurse leader ends that person’s remaining steps and lands in Smart Inbox.

Reply management

Dmand AI has a unified inbox that puts email replies from all of a rep’s connected mailboxes in one view

Winter ICU Staffing sends from four mailboxes across three reps. In Smart Inbox, the unified inbox in the app, each rep reads the replies to all of their own mailboxes in one list.

  • Replies to all of a rep’s connected mailboxes land in one sales inbox

Angela Moss wrote to dana@tidewellstaffing.com and Joy Mendez to dana@tidewell.com, and both replies reach the same list, with a Slack nudge for each when Slack is connected.

  • Reply, forward or mark a prospect interested or not interested

Dana answers Angela from the thread, then marks Joy interested and forwards her reply to Kara Singh, who covers Cedar Health.

  • Unsubscribing a contact from the inbox adds them to your organization-wide suppression list

When Brian Foley asks to stop getting emails, Dana unsubscribes him from his reply, and his sequence stops the same way it does for anyone who replies.

  • Calls and manual tasks keep their own pages, and Sequence Manager shows every step

Smart Inbox holds email only: calls are worked on the Calls page, manual tasks such as LinkedIn steps on the Tasks page, and Sequence Manager shows and manages every step type with its performance.

Illustration: replies from three invented hospital and health system prospects to two of Dana’s mailboxes in one Smart Inbox list, with one marked interested and forwarded to a teammate and one unsubscribed.

Healthcare sales cadence

A healthcare sales cadence mixes emails, calls and LinkedIn touches and ends at the first reply

Physicians and hospital leaders spend much of the day with patients or in meetings, so a cadence plans a few touches on different channels instead of one email.

  • Illustration: an email, a call, a LinkedIn task and a follow-up email in one row, with a wait between each.

Touches and channels: open with email, then call and connect

A short email gives the reason, a call a few days later reaches people who skim email, and a LinkedIn request makes your name familiar. Give every touch its own reason rather than asking whether they saw the last one.

  • Illustration: four deliverability basics: mailbox rotation, daily limit, sending hours and domain health.

Deliverability basics: rotation, daily limits and domain health

Spread sending across several mailboxes, keep each one under its daily limit, send during the prospect’s working hours, and check bounce and reply rates for each domain every week.

Sales engagement questions

Healthcare sales engagement FAQs

What sales leaders, SDR managers and RevOps ask before they move outreach into Dmand AI. Not here? Email hello@dmand.ai.

What is a sales engagement platform?

A sales engagement platform runs outreach to prospects across email, phone and social channels as planned sequences, and keeps every touch and reply in one place. Dmand AI is one built for teams selling into US healthcare: the HCPs and executives you reach come from its healthcare data, linked to the site of care where they work.

Is there a sales engagement platform built for healthcare?

Yes. Dmand AI is a healthcare sales intelligence and outbound platform with email sequences, an auto-dialer, tasks and one inbox for replies, in the same app where you find HCPs, executives and sites of care. People are linked to the hospital, medical group or site where they work, so outreach reaches the right person at the right site.

What is the difference between an email sequence and a sales cadence?

An email sequence is a series of emails that send on a schedule until the prospect replies. A sales cadence is the wider plan of touches across channels, such as emails, calls and LinkedIn steps, over a set number of days. In Dmand AI both live in one sequence: email steps send on their own, call steps wait on the rep’s Calls page, and LinkedIn steps wait on the Tasks page.

Which steps can a Dmand AI sequence include?

Automated emails (plain text, HTML, an email with a personalized ice-breaker, or an email Zeus writes for each prospect), phone calls worked through the auto-dialer, LinkedIn connection requests, text message tasks and custom action items, with waits between steps. Calls wait on the Calls page, and LinkedIn steps, texts and action items wait on the Tasks page for the rep to complete.

Does Dmand AI have a built-in dialer?

Yes. Call steps in a sequence wait on the Calls page and are worked through Dmand AI’s built-in auto-dialer, and each call is logged on the sequence next to its emails. Reps call from the same app where they found the prospect.

Can Dmand AI automate LinkedIn outreach?

No. LinkedIn steps in a Dmand AI sequence are manual tasks: the sequence reminds the rep on the right day to send a connection request, and the rep sends it in LinkedIn. Dmand AI does not take actions on LinkedIn for you.

Does Dmand AI have a unified inbox for sales replies?

Yes. Smart Inbox is Dmand AI’s unified inbox, the kind of view some tools call a master inbox: replies to your sequence emails from all of your connected Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook mailboxes show up in one list. From any thread you can reply, forward, mark the prospect interested or not interested, or unsubscribe them, which adds them to your organization-wide suppression list and stops their sequence. The inbox is for email only; calls are worked on the Calls page and manual tasks on the Tasks page.

How does Dmand AI protect email deliverability?

Each sequence sends from the mailboxes you pick, in rotation, with each mailbox kept within its daily sending limit and emails sent during working hours in each prospect’s time zone. Emails are checked as deliverable or risky before launch, and each sequence shows email and domain health per mailbox. Managed mailboxes and domains are available as an add-on at $5 per mailbox a month plus $15 per domain a year; see the pricing page.

Can I add a hospital or health system to a sequence?

Sequences are for people. Open the account, use Find decision makers to pick the executives and HCPs at the right hospital or site, save them to a list, and add those people to the sequence.

Does Dmand AI sync sequence activity to HubSpot or Salesforce?

Yes for HubSpot: its integration covers contacts, accounts, email activities, tasks and notes. Salesforce is in beta with the same scope. CRM Integrations explains how to connect each one.

Where do the contacts in my sequences come from?

HCPs come from the CMS provider registry, with Medicare claims, CMS Open Payments, ClinicalTrials.gov and PubMed adding detail, and executives come from Dmand AI executive data. Every person is placed at the hospital, group or clinic where they practice or work. Emails and phone numbers come from waterfall enrichment across 20+ healthcare-specific contact sources and are checked before use, and you can also import your own leads.

Is Dmand AI an alternative to Apollo for healthcare outreach?

For teams selling into US healthcare, it can be. Apollo offers sequences and a dialer for B2B teams in any industry. Dmand AI runs the same kind of outreach on US healthcare data, with each person placed in the org tree of the health system, hospital or group they work for. Read the full Dmand AI and Apollo comparison.
