Zeus researches each physician, practice leader or hospital executive and their organization, then drafts a personalized email for every contact in a sequence from your prompt and campaign context. A person on your team reviews the drafts and launches the sequence, and the emails send from your team’s own mailboxes on its schedule.

Templates vs researched emails

## Templates, hand-written emails and AI SDRs that send on their own each fall short with physicians and hospital leaders

Teams writing to healthcare buyers usually choose between three approaches, and each gives up the research, the scale or the review.

_Illustration: for each common way to write cold emails, what it produces next to what a Zeus draft shows for the same prospect._

- ### Templates with merge fields send every prospect the same email

A first name and a practice name change, but the reason to reply stays the same for a cardiologist and a practice administrator.

- ### Hand-written emails are personal but stop at a short list

Reading a profile, a website and a CRM history for each prospect takes time, so only the top few accounts get real research.

- ### An AI SDR that sends on its own can email a prospect before anyone on your team has read it

With no review step, a wrong fact about a hospital or a physician reaches the prospect before anyone can fix it.

From contacts to launch

## A rep sets up the sequence and the campaign, Zeus researches and drafts every email, and the rep reviews, schedules and launches it

Follow one sales development rep at a digital health company as she writes to cardiology group leaders. The people and companies in the scenes are invented.

01

### Add your contacts and create the sequence

Nina Castillo saves her cardiology group prospects, creates the Cardiology Groups Q1 sequence and adds a Zeus email step to it.

02

### Give Zeus a prompt and the campaign context

She tells Zeus the campaign type, the meeting she wants and what Tallis Care offers, picks a framework and tone, and ranks custom company signals and company growth above the other insights.

03

### Zeus researches each prospect and drafts every email in bulk

Zeus first shows its research for Dr. Rohan Mehta, the three insights it used with their dates and sources beside his email, then researches every other prospect and organization and drafts their emails in the background.

04

### Review and edit the drafts, then schedule and launch the sequence

Nina reads the drafts, edits a line or regenerates any she would not send, then schedules and launches the sequence, and the emails go out from her mailbox on that schedule until a prospect replies or unsubscribes.

What makes it personal

## A personalized cold email to a physician or hospital leader cites what is new for them and their organization

Hyper-personalization in healthcare is less about a first name and more about one true, recent fact the reader will recognize. Zeus finds facts like these in its own research on each prospect, and your rep checks them in review before the sequence is scheduled and launched.

- Illustration: Dr. Rohan Mehta, a medical director, with four kinds of personal insight: a promotion, a post, a podcast and a CRM touchpoint.

  ### Insights about the person: a promotion, a post, a past meeting

A new role, a recent LinkedIn post or podcast, or a meeting already in your CRM shows the reader you know who they are and what they care about now.

- Illustration: Elm Heart Group, a medical group, with four kinds of company insight: a new clinic, an expansion, hiring and a custom signal.

  ### Insights about the organization: a new site, hiring, a buying signal

A new clinic, an expansion, a hiring push or a custom signal your team tracks explains why you are writing this month and not last year.

Each team ranks different insights first, because a different event gives it a reason to write.

Health IT and services

### Write to CIOs about what changed in their system

Put company growth and news first, so each email to a CIO or CMIO cites a new hospital, a leadership change or an expansion in their system.

AI SDR questions

## AI SDR for healthcare FAQs

What sales leaders and SDR managers ask before they let AI write to their prospects. Not here? Email [hello@dmand.ai](mailto:hello@dmand.ai).

**What is an AI SDR?**

An AI SDR is software that does part of a sales development rep’s job, usually researching prospects and writing outreach, and sometimes sending it. Zeus is the AI SDR in Dmand AI for teams selling into US healthcare: it researches each HCP or healthcare executive and their organization and drafts their email, and a rep on your team reviews and edits the drafts, then schedules and launches the sequence.

**Is Zeus an autonomous AI sales agent?**

No, Zeus is not autonomous. A rep adds the contacts, creates the sequence and gives Zeus a prompt and the campaign context. Zeus then researches each prospect and their organization and drafts a personalized email for every contact in bulk. The rep reviews and edits the drafts, regenerating any that miss, then schedules and launches the sequence. From there the emails send automatically from your team’s connected mailboxes on the sequence’s schedule and stop for anyone who replies or unsubscribes. Zeus does not answer prospects for you.

**What is the difference between an AI SDR and an AI BDR?**

In many teams SDRs qualify inbound leads and BDRs prospect into new accounts, though plenty of companies use the titles the same way. Tools sold as an AI SDR or an AI BDR do the same kind of work: research and outreach. Zeus covers the research and writing for outbound emails in either role.

**What does Zeus use to personalize each email?**

Zeus pulls insights about the person and the organization: CRM touchpoints such as a past meeting, personal insights such as a promotion, a LinkedIn post or a podcast, company growth, news and challenges, and custom company signals your team tracks. You rank which kinds matter most and choose a framework and tone before Zeus writes, and Zeus combines the top insights it finds for each prospect with your prompt and campaign context.

**Can Zeus write follow-up emails?**

Yes. A sequence can include a follow-up step written by Zeus, sent as a reply in the same email thread, alongside calls and LinkedIn tasks.

**How do I check that a Zeus email is accurate?**

Each draft lists the insights Zeus used, with the date and source link for each, next to the email. Preview one prospect before Zeus drafts the rest, then read and edit the drafts during review and regenerate any you would not send. Nothing goes out until your rep schedules and launches the sequence.

**Can Zeus use our CRM history?**

Yes. CRM touchpoints, such as a meeting or a webinar a prospect attended, are one of the insight types you can rank first. Connect HubSpot, or Salesforce while its sync is in beta, under Settings > Integrations.

**Can Zeus write to physicians as well as hospital executives?**

Yes. Zeus writes to anyone in a sequence: physicians, nurse practitioners and other HCPs, practice administrators, and executives at hospitals, health systems and medical groups. The insights differ by person, so an email to a cardiologist and one to a CFO read differently.

**Where does Zeus get its insights?**

From the prospect’s public activity (LinkedIn posts, podcasts and videos), the organization’s own website and news, your CRM history, and custom signals your team sets up. Who each person is and where they work comes from Dmand AI’s data: the CMS provider registry for HCPs and Dmand AI executive data for leaders. Each insight in a draft shows its source link and date.

**How is Zeus different from an AI email writer?**

A general AI email writer turns one prompt into one email. Zeus starts from a list of real prospects, researches each one, applies your prompt, campaign context and insight ranking, and drafts a different email for every person in a sequence, with its sources shown. Each prospect uses one credit, which covers both Zeus’s research and the email.

**Does Zeus send from our own mailboxes?**

Yes. Once your rep launches the sequence, the Zeus emails send automatically on its schedule from the Google Workspace or Microsoft Outlook mailboxes you connect, in rotation and within each mailbox’s daily limit. The sequence stops for a prospect who replies or unsubscribes.

**Does Zeus use our data to train AI models?**

No. Zeus writes its drafts with OpenAI and Anthropic models through their business APIs, and customer data is not used to train those models. AI features can also be turned off for your whole organization or for a single user. The AI features section of the Privacy Policy explains what is sent.
